Key Destinations & Attractions

Discover Route 21, your easy connection to essential Tucson destinations! Starting in downtown and the Ronstadt Transit Center, this route takes you to cultural and community hubs, such as the Tucson Museum of Art.

As you make your way West on Congress Street make a stop at San Agustin Mercado, where shops, delicious food, and lively events create a vibrant community. Around that same area, you can visit important health centers like El Rio Community Health Center or St. Mary’s Hospital.

As the bus continues, pass by the Pima County Housing Center, a vital resource for housing support and community connections. Further along, you’ll spot Joaquin Murrieta Park, currently getting an exciting makeover with improvements on the way. Let Route 21 take you to explore Tucson’s westside!

Downtown Tucson

Route 21 drops you off at the heart of downtown at the Ronstadt Transit Center (RTC), Tucson’s central transportation hub. RTC connects you to multiple Sun Tran and Sun Express routes, plus the Sun Link Streetcar. In downtown Tucson you can find a mix of culture featuring an array of restaurants, museums, theaters and unique local businesses making it a popular spot for locals and visitor alike.

Mercado San Agustin

Mercado San Agustín Public Market is the anchor of the Mercado District. At its center it has an open-air courtyard to gather with friends and family. It is also lined with retail shops, restaurants, and services, all locally owned, including specialty foods and artisan-made goods that embody the Tucson vibe.

Pima County Housing Center

Pima County Housing Center provides citizens obtain resources and information on sustainable and affordable housing. St. Mary’s Hospital

St. Mary’s Hospital is a premier destination for advanced heart and vascular surgery, stroke care, cancer treatment, and emergency services. Home to the Carondelet Heart & Vascular Institute, it delivers compassionate, personalized care from dedicated nurses, physicians, and surgeons.

Joaquin Murrieta Park
