February 2026 Service Changes

Mark your calendars, transit riders! Starting Sunday, February 15, Sun Tran and Sun Shuttle are updating their schedules and routes to keep the community moving smoothly. Riders are encouraged to view their route changes and plan ahead.

Sun Tran Changes

The following Sun Tran routes will have schedule changes: 6, 10, 11, 25, and 29.

Additionally, Sun Tran Route 2 and 15 will have route changes. The good news is these changes will not impact any rider bus stops!

Sun Tran Route 22 will be permanently discontinued on February 15. Riders who rely on transit to and from the Speedway Boulevard and Silverbell Road area have other transit options such as:

  • Route 5 – Pima Street/West Speedway Boulevard
  • Route 9 – Grant Road
  • Route 21 – West Congress Street/Silverbell Road

Sun Shuttle Changes

Sun Shuttle routes will have schedule changes: 401, 412, 413, 421X 430, 440, 450 and 486

Additionally, Sun Shuttle Route 401 and 486 will also have route changes. A number of stops will be removed and/or added to routes 401, 413 and 486.

Plan your trip one of three way:

  1. Download the FREE official Sun Tran app called Transit. Plan your trip, check bus arrival in real-time and get step-by-step directions. Visit Suntran.com/sun-tran-app for more information or email SunTranAppInfo@tucsonaz.gov
  2. Use our online trip planner tool. Go to our home page and to the left where it says ‘Plan A Trip,’ insert your start address and where you want to go.
  3. Call Customer Service (520) 792-9222 (TDD 520-628-1565). Customer Service Representatives are also available at Ronstadt and Laos Transit Centers from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
