Giddy Up! 2026 Rodeo Parade Detours
February 20, 2026The Tucson Rodeo Parade is just around the corner causing Sun Tran, Sun Express and Sun Shuttle to add temporary route detours to keep everyone moving smoothly. Detours will begin Thursday, February 26 from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Riders are encouraged to plan ahead!
The parade is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and travel along South 12th Avenue and Drexel Road, heading East on Drexel Road to Nogales Highway, turning and traveling north on South Nogales Highway, ending at Irvington Road. The following routes will be detoured:
Sun Tran
- Route(s): 12, 16, 23, 26, 27, 29
Sun Express
- Route(s): 203X, 204X
Sun Shuttle
- Route(s): 421X, 430, 440, 486

Sun Tran and Sun Shuttle provide a convenient and FREE travel option to the Tucson Rodeo Parade. The following Sun Tran and Sun Shuttle routes serve the Laos Transit Center and are only a short distance to the Tucson Rodeo Route: 12, 16, 23, 26, 27, 29, 421X, 430, 440, 486.
