Training rate $18.16/hr.

After training $19.39/hr.

Qualifications

Applicants must be at least 21 years old, have a good driving record and the ability to learn to safely operate a paratransit vehicle. Should have basic reading, writing and math skills and follow written and oral instructions. Must have the ability to communicate verbally and in writing; establish and maintain courteous, friendly, and effective relations with passengers, the public and fellow employees. ALL APPLICANTS MUST POSSESS A CURRENT VALID ARIZONA DRIVERS LICENSE AND PROVIDE A CURRENT 39 MONTH MOTOR VEHICLE REPORT IF CALLED FOR AN INTERVIEW.

Van Operator shifts may include Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Qualifications

High School Diploma and four years in the transportation industry. Two years of college may substitute for up to two years of required experience. Intermediate computer skills required (Trapeze and Microsoft experience preferred). Previous supervisory experience a plus.

Qualifications

The ability to make decisions determining American with Disabilities Act (ADA) paratransit eligibility. Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of related experiences. Experience in ADA paratransit eligibility determination or related transportation services. Experience in handling complaints, appeals, or dispute resolution. Bilingual (English, Spanish) required.
