With key stops at major institutions like the University of Arizona and connections to essential community destinations, this route helps students, professionals, and residents travel efficiently from Downtown to East Tucson.
Key Destinations & Attractions
Route 4 connects riders to essential destinations and attractions throughout Tucson. Start your journey in Downtown Tucson, then visit cultural landmarks like the University of Arizona Museum of Art and the Banner University Medical Center. The route also stops at Himmel Park and Library for recreation and study, as well as the Direct Center for Independence for specialized services. Enjoy unique experiences at The Loft Cinema and browse at Bookmans East Entertainment Exchange.
Then head East where shopping and errands are made easy with a stop at the Walmart Supercenter, while students can reach Palo Verde High School conveniently. Route 4 also provides access to Tucson’s Ward 2 and Ward 6 offices for community services. For added convenience, Route 4 stops at four park-and-rides.
Downtown Tucson
Route 4 drops you off at the heart of downtown at the Ronstadt Transit Center (RTC), Tucson’s central transportation hub. RTC connects you to multiple Sun Tran and Sun Express routes, plus the Sun Link Streetcar.
