Transfers from Sun Tran
All Sun Shuttle routes will honor valid Sun Tran transfers. A surcharge is required when boarding dial-a-ride Sun Shuttle service with a Sun Tran transfer.
Passes
Sun Shuttle will honor the following Sun Tran passes: day pass, monthly (including full fare, economy, and express), U-Pass, and PCC Pass. A surcharge is required when boarding dial-a-ride Sun Shuttle service with a Sun Tran pass.
Sun Shuttle Connection Pass
A valid Sun Shuttle Connection Pass will be honored on Sun Tran routes connecting to Sun Shuttle. Ask your driver for this pass if you paid cash and are transferring to Sun Tran or Sun Express. A $ .50 surcharge is required when connecting to Sun Express Routes 101X-312X.
What you need to know about the Connection Pass:
- The Connection Pass is valid for one ride.
- When boarding a Sun Tran route, you will insert the pass in the slot on the top of the farebox.
- You can request a Sun Tran transfer upon boarding, before inserting the Connection Pass.
* Deviated Service
Passengers can schedule a pick-up or drop-off within 3/4 mile of Sun Shuttle routes. For deviated services on a Monday, requests must be scheduled prior to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Other deviated service requests must be scheduled by 6 p.m. the previous day. The following routes do not provide deviated service: 413, 421, 430 and 440. Deviated service requests must be made by 6 p.m. the previous day.
** Low-Income Qualifications
To be eligible for the low-income fare, passengers must obtain an ID from the City of Tucson Special Services Office, 35 W. Alameda, Tucson. Call (520) 791-4100 for more information.
