New SunGO ID for Seniors and Disabled Passengers

Sun Tran will be implementing a new smart card payment system in 2012. All passengers who pay a reduced fare will need to obtain the new SunGO ID & Card. This card will serve as your all-in-one ID and fare product, and will be the only ID accepted when the new smart card system is launched.
Seniors
Sun Tran will accept the following IDs until smart cards are launched:
- Driver's License
- Passport or visa
- Tribal ID
- Government-issued ID with birthdate
- Medicare Card
- Sun Tran Transit ID
When Sun Tran launches the smart card fare payment system, the only accepted ID will be:
- SunGO ID & Card
Disabled Passengers
Sun Tran will accept the following IDs until smart cards are launched:
- Medicare Card
- ADA Eligibility Card
- Sun Tran Transit ID
When Sun Tran launches the smart card fare payment system, the only accepted ID will be:

Free SunGO ID & Card Available
Card Fee: The $2 SunGO ID & Card fee is waived until June 30, 2012 for senior and disabled passengers currently boarding with a Medicare Card or picture ID. Senior and disabled passengers currently boarding with a Sun Tran Transit ID can obtain the Sun GO ID & Card at no charge if obtained prior to the Sun Tran Transit ID expiration date. After this date, a $2 fee will be charged.
